Cascade Christian strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-6 victory over the East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Rivals are ranked 271st).

Cascade Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cordae Norling led the charge by throwing for 266 yards and four touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. Norling is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Caleb Donahue also helped with three TDs in total.

Cascade Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brody Robertson, Donahue, and Tayven Collins picked up one apiece. Collins got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cascade Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Cascade Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 26-23 victory against Battle Ground on the 27th. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Klahowya at 6:30 p.m. on October 3.
